Russell Christian Academy - Case Study/Videography Client Brief

OVERVIEW

Russell Christian Academy in Meridian, MS is interested in creating a promotional video to target perspective families. RCA is a K-12 Christian school that is also adjacent to a preschool and daycare. The overall goal of the video is to showcase faculty/staff, students, student life, athletics, and what goes on during a typical day at RCA.

OBJECTIVES

TANGIBLE GOAL #1
Show prospective families how RCA can partner with parents to equip students to embrace biblical truth through an educational atmosphere that aligns with a biblical worldview.

TANGIBLE GOAL #2
Showcase current faces at RCA that represent diversity and age through all aspects of the school.

TANGIBLE GOAL #3
Creating content and a script that is meaningful to grab the target audience’s attention while watching the video.

TARGET AUDIENCE

RCA’s target audience is Christian families in the surrounding Meridian area. This represents any race, age, and gender as RCA consists of a daycare, preschool, and K-12th grade. The target audience also includes adults who might be interested in applying for employment at Russell Christian Academy or donating to the school.

COMPETITION

RCA is already the largest Christian private school in the area. Other K-12 private school competitors are: Lamar School and Patrician Academy.

MESSAGE

Russell Christian Academy was founded in 2004 and exists as a ministry of Russell Baptist Church to partner with parents in equipping students to embrace Biblical truth, achieve their God-givien potential, and engage the culture for the cause of Christ. Students in the school will be provided a Christian education that challenges each one spiritually, morally, socially, physically, and academically.

TONE

The tone of the message this video will represent will be serious along with an inspirational and loving tone that will encourage the target audience to listen to the full promotion. 

VISUALS

This video will showcase current faculty, staff, and students participating in academics, athletics, student life activities, extra-curricular clubs/organizations. The video will highlight a caring, safe, and active campus life. Campus grounds will also be included showing facilities, sports fields, pickup lines, entrances, signs, halls, classrooms, etc…
